More than a Meeting.

Dear Friend,

Thank you for visiting our web site. Discovering the purpose for our life is much more important than personal fulfillment, career, happiness, or even our peace of mind. As a matter of fact, when we discover and walk in the purpose for our lives, all those things tend to take care of themselves.

In attempting to discover our purpose for life we often experience difficulty because we look for it in the wrong places. We often look to self to find the meaning for our life but that never seems to work. The Bible gives us insight into finding the real purpose for our life.

Colossians 1:16 says: For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, everything got started in Him (Jesus Christ) and finds its purpose in Him. Discovering our purpose begins with Jesus Christ. We were made by God and for Him. I like how the Bible says it.  Romans 8:6 says: Obsession with self in these matters is a dead end; attention to God leads us out into the open, into a spacious, free life. We must understand that God is the source and starting point for our life. He created us and like any inventor He knows how His product should work best. We were no accident. Anyone who studies in depth the Human Body knows that there is no explanation for such incredible and miraculous functioning except that it was formed by a brilliant, intelligent designer.

Consider that the average heart inside a body weighs about ten ounces and beats about 100 thousand times a day, rarely missing a beat. Over the course of an average lifetime it beats about two and one-half billion times pumping about sixty million gallons of blood without pausing to rest. How do we explain the miraculous element of such a small muscle? There is a creator, and discovering our purpose in life begins with Him. We can spend our lives trying to discover our purpose by speculation, not ever knowing if we have arrived. The other alternative is to turn to what God has revealed about life in His Word. Just like with an invention, the best way to discover why it was created is to ask the inventor. God hasn’t left us in the dark but has clearly revealed that meaning and purpose begins with Jesus Christ.

My hope is that this web site will help you in your pursuit of His purpose. You are not just visiting a web site with a bunch of information, but the website has a group of people behind it. It is a family of people that have discovered the beginning point of purpose for their life, Jesus Christ, and are walking out that discovery as they grow more in touch with Him. Beginning with Christ, these people have not only discovered their purpose for life, but as they walk in relationship with Him, they have seen many things in their lives (marriages, family, personal habits etc) changed for the better. Like a train was designed to travel on train tracks, you were designed to live in relationship with God. Life is better when you live according to your design. If we can be of any assistance in your discovering life’s purpose please let us know; we would be glad to help. Just call our office at 620 231-6881.

God bless you,
